Class of 2009's time to shine

It's the day after Ian and Kaylyn's graduation.  My husband and I are thinking life is going to be a little more calmer---not.  We just arrived home after watching a band Ian's been playing in.  He is in the middle of the horn section.   I can't get enough of watching him play.  His band makes my husband happy by playing Chicago tunes like I'm so Happy and they make me happy by playing 10th Ave. Freezeout by Bruce Springsteen.  Like my husband said this is so cool--in our wildest dreams we never thought our future would include all of this entertainment from our own children.
Ian recv'ing his diploma......
Kaylyn recv'ing her diploma.......yes they were sitting on opposite sides.  I rushed home in weekend traffic and barely greeted everyone and they were out the door----meaning no cap and gown pictures-----ugh.  Then as they are walking into the gym I realize we didn't ask which side to sit at----didn't matter they were on the opposite side.  So, these are my best shots.  I am so proud of my two babes.....I think the future for them is bright.  I am really looking forward to seeing what is next for them.....they found out today they each are in a suite at college with 4 roomates.........I think that should be good for them.  I hope the closets are big.......and I hope they all don't have to shower for 8am classes.  This should be interesting.
