Christmas Wishes

This was a trading card of a bakery in Manasquan from the early part of this century or maybe the late part of last century.  I am not too sure.  It was a gift to us last Christmas.  It is not the kind of thing you wish for.......we didn't even know it existed.  It probably could be one of the best gifts we have ever received.  It is just a piece of paper.........but, looking at it gives me so much hope, love and belief.  It speaks to me.  It makes me believe there is something else out their for this Gray family.  I fantasize a lot about having our own business.....I would love to have a european bakery full of macarons, chocolates, and like the card says etc. etc.  I think the fantasy is so much better than the real thing.....the real thing could be a lot of work.  Then I read the quote "I am soulfully intense" and agree.  The card makes me think of all those fantasies of the perfect Christmases I always imagined and dreamed about and realize the best memories are the unexpected.  I am wishing for a Christmas  a house full of  family enjoying a feast and feeling an overall feeling of peace and fullness.  I hope you and your families wishes come true and I wish for you peace, joy and happiness this holiday season and maybe even something unexpected to make your life better in 2010.

Geralyn,
How interesting about you longing to run a bakery. I always felt the same way...I even scaled down the dream to hope for opening a bagel shop that also sells homemade baked goods. A nice traditional family business is a great dream. Yes, it would probably more work than I would want us to dedicate to...so I probably will keep it a dream too. May you and your family have a merry and Blessed Christmas.

Oh boy, Geralyn, I'm running far behind this week in my blog reading. I just haven't had many moments to be here.

But I wanted to stop by and wish you and your family a most blessed, Merry Christmas. ♥♥
