Sweet Treats

Paper Source sent a basket of treats for us from Mrs Fields.  Melissa Cookman who works at Paper Source Princeton, now, baked these great cookies.....she featured our pool and bluebell colors........sweet!!!!!
We had a card making contest......this one by Mary Cordero deserves honorable mention.  The entries had to be  made with all Paper Source products.  This was my personal favorite....she used our french dyed ribbons and made the wreath with multiple impressions of the winter berry stamp.
These two were by Tiffany Heater and she used the leaf punch in many ways.....I loved the details on this one and was a favorite of many....
I had to show the details of both cards inside and out because of all the detail in both. The stamps were used in a creative way, too.  Love the snuggly kitty!
And the winner was Angela Sgro.  Her cards really used the Paper Source colors to say this card was made with Paper Source products.....love the ribbon frames and how she used the snowflakes and each card had a complimentary liner.   This was a tough competition, but having each co-worker vote made Angela the clear winner.  Thank you to all of our entries and Congratulations to Angela.
Thank you for stopping by my blog this busy time of year.........I can't believe Christmas Eve is a week away.   At home we have the tree up and I just was able to get half the decorations up......I am working on it.....Glen has started a new job today......it is official....he was approved by the board of education last night, so he is on his first run as a School Bus Driver.....yea....things were tough.....he never got a call for work in nine months........so he retired....received his 30 year pin as a union carpenter.....and in the meantime went to school and after many tests received his CDL license.......the children should come home tonight.....Glen is doing the cards this year......thank you very much.......I have 5 dozen cookies to bake for Zandra's cookie swap tomorrow night.....I might pick up some cookies at Trader Joes at this rate....but, Glen could save the day by making his famous shortbread...........Now, if I could just get going on all of these things.........I have to stop thinking and start doing.....ok.....I am off and running!!!!!

Geralyn,

Thank you for popping by. WOW what a fun job you have. I would never get any "work" done with all those resources at hand.

Good luck with all you need to accomplish. The cards look lovely and I love that you chose that sweet photo for your blog header picture.

Geralyn, you do have a dream job! I know it keeps you busy but, just the thought of working around all that creativity is wonderful. If Paper Source ever comes to Cincinnati my resume is on it's way! Congrats to hubby too. I think so many are going in new directions with the economy the way it is. Hoping for good things in the new year. Take care, hugs, Pam
