Declaring Friday 1-29-10 swap today

Today was a stop and smell the roses kind of day for me.  I was scheduled for a short day today....preparing to work two long days tomorrow and Thursday.  I just came home and thought.....what a great day.  It started off by opening shipment and finding out that we are selling Where Women Create magazine in the store(Paper Source).  And, there is a terrific article about the CEO of our company.   It is a great inspirational article and not that I don't always feel lucky I work for Paper Source ....it made me feel luckier....if that is possible.  Then a customer came in looking for vellum labels and I remembered I brought my tag swap to open.  It was so much fun opening the package and hearing all the ooooooh and aaaaaahs and true appreciation for the tags and all who made them......the customer not only bought the vellum oval labels(I used them for the back of my tags) but she bought a bunch of our pink tags, too!!!!!
Then I walked to my car.....I walk along a street with all the dorms on it from Princeton University.  These students literally live in castles.....really amazing.  Today,  I took pictures....I always think about it......but, today I did it. Now, I am going to create a garland from the tag book from the swap and take pictures.  So, Friday I will post pictures with links and mail out my Vintage Valentine Swap and finish my tags for the Spring tag swap.........thus declaring Friday swap day.

Princeton is a beautiful area. Sounds like you had fun! I need to photograph my tag book as well and post it to my blog. The garland sounds like a great idea for Valentine's day and then can be put back on the ring after. I might just do that too. :)
