Wooohooo Let's Party....Where Bloggers Create Party

My daughter Kaylyn Gray is working on a new painting and she is able to do this in our new shop/studio/gallery...........
We each have our own cabinet for supplies.......this one above is mine.....to the right is our gift wrap station........
This one is Kaylyn's........
This is the other side of this space behind the store........I thought by now I would have the space all cleaned up ......but, it is a work in progress......last night I had it set up with chairs.....So, we could fit 8 people back there for classes.  I want to buy the big red magnet boards at IKEA and use it for big inspiration boards.......and I have picked out curtains for the doorways too......We are going to paint the side walls too.  I wanted to be in the space for a while before I made any of those important decisions......so, I hope you come back to see how it all progresses.......
This is the best part.....last night was our opening and we celebrated with Etsy and had a craft party.....we made cute little booklets you can see in the last post.....
We had fortune cookies and rice krispy treats that looked like sushi.......they were a hit.....all of those were gone by the end of the night.  We had about 40 guests attend.  It was so much fun!!!
And you even brought flowers..............thank you!!!!!  My husband brought the orchid.....my friends who came all the way from Pennsylvania brought the arrangement and my friend from college who is generously going to help me with the walls.....she is a mural artist...brought me the hydrangeas.  So this is a before and after party......It is a dream come true....I hope you become a follower so, you can see the store as it progresses.   Thanks for coming........I will be a busy girl for the next few days........I don't attend a party without leaving a comment.....so, I can't wait to see how long it takes to leave comments on 400 blogs.  I love to hear feedback.....so please, I know you are making a lot of visits, but I really value what you think......let me know by leaving a comment or better yet become a follower!!!!!!  Let's get this party started!!!!!!

Congrats on your new space! Love the brick walls and the blue cupboard. I so agree with you for waiting and "feeling" your space before rushing in and doing something that you are not completely sure of. It's great that you can have room for 8 for classes/workshops. I can't wait to see it all done and what you all create in your beautiful shop. Have a great week, fondly, Roberta

Congrats!!! It sounds like it was a huge success!!! I must say I am so envious of your brick walls I can't stand it! I think I will have to move back east in order to find a space with real brick walls! Oh well. Thank you so much for letting us share in your success!

What fun to have a shop attached to your studio! Or is it a studio attached to your shop? In either case it's something I have longed to have. I'm green with envy!! Thanks for sharing it with us.

Great creative space. - Take your time getting it your way. Even when you think its all set - you often find something doesn't work like you planned so you have to change it- that;s just normal evolution. All part of the creative process.
Congrats on a new store and creative space and Many years of Good Luck.
Hugs,
Penny

What a wonderful evolving space and how exciting to have an Etsy party. I wish I would have been able to attend the Minneapolis party but no luck. You are doing a beautful job with your space and heaven only knows what you will have next year! Your brick walls are fantastic and I love your many ideas for storage.

My daughter and I have a "young" blog and would love to have you visit, if you wish. She and I have been making jewelry together for fifteen years but also have other interests. I love vintage paper crafts and she loves vintage fashion...and we both love estate sales!

Thanks for giving us a peek at your creating spot. Isn't this a fun blog party?
