Magical day at a magical place with magical people

Saturday I was able to share a magical day with Zandra ..........
We were able to share our day with a great group of women.......we share our love of crafting (not witch crafting) but, that was a fun play on words.........Lisa was the perfect hostess sharing the history along with her artistic knowledge showing us how to make crepe paper rosettes and more.   Lisa and Diana made the glittered stars a crepe paper rosettes for each of us.  We had a lovely lunch of homemade chicken salad and  wonderful dinner of baked ziti and ended the evening with a table full of deserts.
We had plenty of time to explore all the gorgeous displays and vignettes in Lisa's store Piddlestix.  We also were able to visit other stores in the village, a psychic reader and an town historian who read his original poetry about the Salem Witch Trial.......truly all the people we encountered were enchanting.....all sharing a passion and love for this autumn season full of folklore.
These were our goodie bags.......look Wanda.....there's your black lace.....there were a lot of oohhhs and ahhhhs as each goodie was opened.  Inside the orange glittered pumpkin was a pendant hand made by Diana of Suburban Girl Studio.  Diana has her studio in Piddlestix and she is able to make her pendants right there.  I have been reading Diana's blog for a couple of years and it was a pleasure to finally meet her.  She gave me a pendant for my birthday, which was really sweet too!!!!!  It was great to see Lisa's mom too.  I feel I was blessed the day I met Lisa.....it was her birthday in November.....right before I started my blog.  She is a true inspiration following her passion and it is a magical trail full of glitter(literally........the best was when we were posing for pictures outside and a big gust of wind came and a burst of glitter from all of our hats blew by........pure magic!!!!!)  Thank you to all for making this day so special!!!!!

It was a wonderful (and exhausting) day! I'm so glad we FINALLY got to meet. I can't wait until I can come down to your store!

Thanks, Geralyn! :) I love supporting other artists...I think I have more fun making goody bags for events than selling stuff in my shop. It looks like you all had a wonderful time.
