Philly Inspirtation

The Anthropologie store in Philiadelphia is located in a the Drexel Mansion in Rittenhouse Square. Every time I walk in there I am always blown away with their displays. I always have to take pictures..........
What can I say I am cuckoo for their displays........the yarns continue outside the building and is draped from the windows near the entrance........
These are all book pages......no wonder my big purchase was the book: Playing with Books by Jason Thompson. Some of the projects I have seen on the internet and didn't realize they were all from this book......
This is the window from the Tiffany and Co. store. They used books in their display also. My surprise was that they didn't even feature their product in the window........but, I love love the display!!!!!!
I was in Philly while my daughter worked a shift at the store she is working at. I heard about a restaurant called Parc. We finally made it there and it was a wonderful way to end the day.

Geralyn, We all love Anthropologie displays, don't we?? Their displays always make me smile and inspire new display ideas to think about. Anthro corporate, their visual teams and most of their stores subscribe to the Retail Details blog, so in a few days, they will be looking at YOUR contest entry display! Woo hoo for you ;-) ~Becky

Love Anthro. So much inspiration. Ours recently moved from the previous store to a "mall" space and I haven't been yet. Hoping they still manage to make the display amazing. Sorry not a "mall" a "town center", not sure what the distinction is, hee hee.
