Florence + the Machine - Shake It Out (Lyrics)

It was a perfect Mother's Day weekend.  I would like to thank my family for making it so!!!!  My husband worked the store all weekend after driving the school bus all week.  He is busily making inventory for this weekend.  Bamboozle is coming this weekend.  Convention Hall will only be open for festival goers and the headliners are Bon Jovi, Foo Fighters, Incubus and My Chemical Romance......I hope to share with lots of pictures.  I hope to get an I Phone this week to make sharing a little easier!
I spent a lovely day with my daughter Saturday......she brought me macarons from Philly and a book from Anthropology and we went to Atlantic City to see Florence and the Machine with tickets I had won from the Borgata.  I included this song because it is the one I can't stop singing.  I spent Mother's Day with my Mom back in Atlantic City.  We took a few minutes to say our blessings for having this Mother's day together.  When I came home Kaylyn and Ian cooked us eggplant parm for dinner.  So, I am thankful......grateful......blessed for  a wonderful family.  When asked on facebook what is a mother???  I said the luckiest person in the world.  When I left my mom yesterday she looked at me and said.....If it wasn't for me??????  I had to fill in the blank..........all I could think of was.....yeah, I wouldn't be here.   So.....in this life it is not always perfect......not as romantic as a hallmark card.....but, sometimes everything comes together and you can fully enjoy who you are and where you are in life.....If not......listen to this song and SHAKE IT OUT!!!!!  Get over it and move on!!!  Life is so short and moving so fast these days....enjoy every moment.....look forward to the future and hold on to your memories but, don't dwell on the past!

Hi Geralyn, I have been trying to do a bit of catch up on the blog world. This post really caught me. Such true words. I have been dwelling on the past lately and I just have to shake it out and move forward. Thanks for the reminder. I may be sending a friend your way this week. She and her family are heading to NJ and if she gets a bit of time I gave her all of your shop info. Her name is Carrie and she has the blog junquemagnet.blogspot.com. I love ready about how things have come together for you. I know this has been a dream for you. Thanks for this post it was lovely. Hugs, Pam
