Leap of Faith

Tomorrow is my last day at Princeton Paper Source.  Am I sad........yes!!!!  Am I glad..........yes!!!  I absolutely loved my job.  This was a hard decision.  There are many reasons big and small..........and they don't really matter.  I have decided to lease a space (signed the lease yesterday) in Asbury Park.  It will be a studio/gallery/gift store.  This is a lifelong dream come true.  I grew up 4 blocks from the beach.  But, you would find me in the heat of the summer with a table in front of my house selling lemonade and my old comic books.  When I told my daughter she squealed with delight.........almost as loud as the first Christmas my children got their first Nintendo.  My mom has helped make this possible and I can't wait for her to see all of my dreams come to life.  The space is right next to where my niece has a shop.....I saw it a couple of months ago.  Every morning I would wake up and have it decorated and full of merchandise.  I couldn't get it out of my head.  When we went to see Ian at the Stone Pony........I asked my niece Debbie  if the space was still empty...with a big smile she shook her head yes.  This is a big thrill, but at the same time I am afraid of failure........but, this has been the answer to......."What would you do if you knew you would not fail" question for a very long time.  I am taking a leap of faith and could really use your prayers and good wishes.

Congratulations on your new store. I know it will be wonderful. Thank you for the sweet comments on my blog. This little interlude has given me lots of opportunities for reflection. I am definitely working on doing the things that I think are important. Keeping in touch with friends is one thing that I've neglected. I am changing that!
