What a sweet week!!!!!

I changed my background in honor of the best swap partner ever!!!!!  Her name is Grace Palazzolo and she came and saw me at Greetings for Geralyn.  What a great surprise.  I have never met a swap partner before the actual exchange of the swap---so this makes it extra special.  Grace and her friends were as sweet as salt water taffy.  Taking this plunge into a new venture in reality is pretty scary, but meeting people like this and their kind words meant the world to me!!!!  When I went to Grace's blog she celebrated Pink day on July 23rd.....so in honor of her I changed my background to pink.
My new banner or header picture features the bags in the background "Keep Calm Have a Cupcake" are designed by locals Jenny and Aaron who are the hosts of the Vintage Vacation Swap.  I have to place an order for more already.....I only have one notepad left!!!!
The cakes are actually boxes designed by Denise Porretto.  I love having them in the store (they will only be available until July 15th).  Denise will be back at the store on July 15th from 4-6pm to teach a class on felt flower making.  Her flowers usually include some kind of special vintage center for a romantic look.  The cost of the class is $40 and can be reserved by calling 732-272-2084.  She will show you how to make it into a pin, necklace, headband or attach it to a tote bag! All the supplies will be included and we are working on making kits available.
Now, it is time to prepare for first Saturday.....one of the stores called Flying Saucers will be celebrating their third anniversary with $3 specials (it is a retro kitchen store) wish I had a link---my biggest blogging weakness.  I will try to feature more in the coming week with a link! I think it is great too because he is going to be playing Three Dog Night music all night....and down the street will be a Bruce Springsteen cover band.....Yes......I am living a dream!!!!!
