This mural was made in the mid 90's. It is on a wall and can be seen from the train station at Asbury Park.....I saw it for the first time on Friday last week. This Friday I was able to meet the person who made this magic. And let me just say......there are good people in this world. I did not know who she was a week ago........ironically she emailed me on Monday and we met yesterday. All I can say is Kate Mellina is a great person and I am so honored I was able to meet her. She is a generous soul and I will be grateful that our paths have crossed. There is a lot of amazing things to this story......too overwhelming to tell in one sitting. I will tell the story in parts, but most of all I just wanted to share a little bit about her today.

Good in this World

My friend used to sell her photographs in Kate's gallery, Cleopatra Steps Out, years ago. That mural is amazing. I'm glad to see it is still there, with all the renovations that have gone on downtown.
She used to live next to my friend Veronica, Gabby use to be very good friends with her daughter, Laura.
