Even the sun sets in paradise

I still can't believe with all that Convention Hall went through to survive

Sandy this is happening.  Politics aside.......I LOVE that building.  In February, I was doing writing on my other blog Paris London Asbury Park how I felt I was living an American Dream by having a store in Convention Hall.  I even went as far as comparing it to Disney's Cinderella Castle.  I write those words and poof!!!!  a few days later I find out there is a threat to close the building down.  The reality of it all came true yesterday when I locked the door of the store.  When, I couldn't tell customers the next time I would be open.  We hope to be open on the boardwalk, but nothing is clear until an agreement between the town and owners of the buildings happens.   It is hard to explain the awful feeling this is.  I guess it is just sickening.  I want that feeling of rebuilding and recovering back and in my wildest dreams I would never had thought this would happen.  I am hoping it all gets resolved soon.
