Finding the beauty is a surprise visit to Philly to take my children out to dinner. It was my husband's idea. To spend some time with them and hear about their job, their new classes, their new painting and projects, and how a new slide trombone is making a huge difference for the better is pure beauty.
Finding beauty in everything I walk by everyday even in the dead of winter. I was able to go into the musuem of Princeton University this week. I wanted to buy a book that explained the architecture a little more. I found a book about the gargoyles on campus......I can't wait to follow the map and take pictures and share pictures.......I am going to wait until it is a little warmer.
Finding beauty in our demo desk......working together to straighten out a place we all share to create everyday........it is so much more pleasurable when it is organized. It's been fun making valentines with our customers too. From handwritten thank you notes recieved, my nephew turning one, my mom being excited because she had fun in Atlantic City, a facebook note for plans to go out to lunch in the Spring to a husband who has planned a vacation cruise to the Bahamas.....to 2 feet of snow coming our way.....it was a pleasure to remember all of the beauty I experienced this week. Thank you for letting me participate in Finding Beauty Friday hosted by Dipity Road........serendipity is my favorite word.

Geralyn,
Such a lovely post. It is truly a blessing to be content and appreciative of all we see and hear. Your children look very content and happy as well. How nice that you were able to spend some time with them. Keep warm and be careful with those snowdrifts!

What a great post. That arch and doors at Princeton are amazing...this will be fun to follow your campus tour. And YEAH for your hubby's surprise...there is nothing better than time with our kids...
It sounds like you had a wonderful week. That walking tour of the gargoyles and such sounds like so much fun!
Working in Princeton and at a cool paper store...what could be better? :) I HAVE got to get to your store soon. It looks wonderful.
I love The Paper Source. I's been one of my all time favorite stores for years. We have several here in the Chicago Area. Did you see the article in the newest issue of Where Women Create? It was fun to read about the CEO.

Geralyn,
I love your new wintry header and the fact that you find beauty in the seemingly ordinary. I look at things much the same way. To me, there is beauty in the simplest things, so often overlooked by most (who are too much in a hurry), and for those of us who recognize the beauty, we are blessed with a rare treasure. To me, it's a personal gift from above.
I have ordered online from Paper Source a couple of times now and I'm so impressed with the speed and accuracy of delivery. I ordered a card and some stamps one afternoon and they arrived the next morning. It's crazy fast. Love the products.
Hope you have a lovely remainder of the week and a special Valentine's Day.
Blessings always,
Linda
So very nice to see your children for a surprise visit and dinner. I do love the PaperSource store, but we do not have one in Nashville.
I love your positive attitude! There is so much to be thankful for - thank you for such an uplifting post!
